Chris' Studio Interior

about chris rowe

Chris is an award-winning mixed media artist, holds a BA in Fine Art (Painting), and has exhibited nationally and internationally since the 1980s.

Combining collage with a variety of compatible professional mediums has been an enduring challenge and continuing journey.

Over the years, my work, informed by life’s experiences, has gradually become more complex and multilayered.

My people gather and wonder in environments of unknown composites. They confer, wait, and search to understand themselves, each other and their world.

My works are the imagery for the viewer’s story; the more you look, the more you see.
